About Apisin
The total protein content of royal jelly is about 35%. Among these proteins, apisin is the most abundant protein, and is recognized internationally as the major royal jelly protein (MRJP1). Its content in royal jelly, however, has not been measured until recently, when a cooperative study by Asahikawa Medical College, School of Medicine at Hokkaido University, and Japan Royal Jelly Co., Ltd. was conducted.
